]]> UPDATE: Imelda has an adoption pending!

Found huddled together in a hotel parking lot near a busy highway, this trio of boxers was sighted by a passerby who was very concerned for their well being. After learning about their dire predicament, one of our volunteers was able to quickly take them to safety. Although details are thin at this point, we can assure you that they will be brought up to date on all necessary veterinary care, and we will provide updates as they become available. They didn’t have names, so a huge thanks to those who generously donated for a chance to name them. Welcome to CHBR Imelda(F)Felicity(F)and Gabriel(M). Their lives matter to us! 😇

Papa is in a Foster-to-Adopt home!

Papa was surrendered by a hobby breeder that became overwhelmed. Papa is 2 years old and has spent his entire life with a dozen other dogs. Papa is rightfully nervous with the recent changes in his life yet remains sweet and gentle. We know he’ll adapt quickly. We rescued his father and brother 6 months ago and they are doing fantastic. Papa would love a home with a fur sister to show him how wonderful life is as a beloved family member. Papa has never been on a leash and it scares him so a fenced yard is ideal. He absolutely loves people and other dogs!
