Yay for Ferris!
He didn’t hear the news but Ferris’s life improved tenfold when his owner dumped him for being deaf! No more living outside, alone.

This 11 month old boxer beefcake is dog & kid friendly. In fact, he LOVES other dogs and seems insecure when not with others. He also loves the car as well as belly scratches and snuggle sessions. This big mush loves just about everything. Ferris is neutered, up to date on vaccines and healthy!

CH Boxer Rescue firmly believes that deaf is not a disability! Deaf dogs listen better than hearing dogs! There is no special requirement with sign language, as these dogs learn to read their owners needs and wants with fine tuning. Deaf dogs ROCK, possessing all the wonderful qualities and traits of the breed we know and love!

]]> We got her! We finally have Bridget after sightings of her struggling alone last few weeks. This girl will never live on the streets, cold and alone, ever again.
Since she was found under a Bridge, we named her Bridget.
The outpouring of love and support for this girl was amazing.
❤ Thank you for helping us save her.  ❤

We know there is a big , boxer, smile under there just waiting to come out! So far she is enjoying her foster fur siblings and is very attached to her foster mom. She is quiet and gentle and mostly likes to snuggle. We estimate she is about 2 years old.

]]> Meet Dewey! We have another deaf fella here!

(That is a vibrating collar to get his attention)

He once had a brother that lived in the neighborhood with him and they were often spotted roaming the streets. When his brother suddenly disappeared the neighbors got nervous and took Dewey in so he’d be safe.

Dewey is 2 years old and absolutely loves other dogs. He is a cuddle bug with people & dogs. He is super smart, learned housebreaking in a few days. He also will sit and give a paw. He is very gentle around his 82YO foster grandmama. He loves when you throw a ball and will actually bring it back to you. He does not love the crate but foster mom worked on it with him. She does trust him when he’s not in the crate, he is not destructive and mostly snoozes with his foster brothers.

]]> Aspen wandered into a grocery store after a large scary storm. His pads were burned and raw. It appears he had been on the streets for a while. A good samaritan took him home to care for him. He was not microchipped and no one was looking for him.

CH Boxer Rescue is happy to give this boy the life all dogs deserve! Aspen is good with other dogs and cats! He is deaf so the other animals comfort him and act as his ears. A fenced yard where this young pup can do zoomies safely is ideal since he cannot hear you call him. Aspen is only 1 year old, neutered, up to date on shots and ready to go home!
