About Us

The American Boxer Rescue Association was formed to encourage responsible rescue efforts across the U.S., to develop a code of ethics for rescue organizations, and ultimately, to help Boxers in need. 

Through our fundraising efforts, we are able to maintain the ABRA ER Fund.  Eligible rescues may apply for and receiving funding for emergency surgeries and other unexpected expenses. 

We hope to resume online auctions soon!

A large part of what we do is to provide referrals to Boxer lovers looking for a rescue in their local area (for both adoption and surrender purposes).  We field a lot of general questions about the breed itself.
